| Michael Carlotta, PMP, develops and delivers Project Management training courses. He also has extensive experience in a number of other areas such as finance, facilities management, manufacturing, production control, and new product development.
Mike has been an adjunct faculty member of the Xerox Engineering Excellence Institute and is currently associated with the LCC International, Inc. Wireless Institute, [McLean, VA.] specializing in Project Management. He has also guest lectured on Total Quality Management and Strategic Management in master’s degree programs at various colleges in the Rochester area.
Mike has held a number of management positions with Xerox Corporation. As a project manager, he has controlled projects ranging from $100K to $10.2M. As an internal consultant, he taught project management courses to engineers and managers at the Xerox Engineering Excellence Institute, where he was certified as a subject matter expert in project management. He also acted as coach and mentor to numerous junior project personnel.
He is a member of the Project Management Institute and is certified as a Project Management Professional [PMP]®. He is also a member of the Association for Psychological Type [APT] and is certified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, FIRO Element B™, The Communication Wheel™, TEAM™ Survey, and ABLE®.
His education includes a master’s degree in Management from Nazareth College, a certificate in Graduate Industrial and Labor Relations Studies from Cornell University, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Mike is currently a PhD candidate in Business Administration at Kennedy-Western University.
